Reality: 57,000 words.

Been going through some major editing. Cleaning up what I've got so far and tightening up the plot.

Reality: 50,287 words.

12,000 words for the week.

Next week I'll try to hit 60,000. Plus, I will be working on revisions on the first chapter to workshop in my class.

I'm having a little plot point problem which is slowing the writing. Decisions, decisions, decisions!

Reality: 38,072 words.

Approximately 15,000 for the week. Maybe I can hit 50,000 words by next week. I'd like to finish the rough draft by June 7 when my in-laws will be here, I know the editing and rewriting is the hardest, most time consuming part.

Lots of writing, no querying this week. I'm making some good progress on WIP 3 and have given it the name Reality. WIP 1 is named Spin, and the rest remain unnamed. I'll workshop part of Reality this month with my writing class. I took a preliminary run at YA fiction as well and polished up a flash fiction piece.

17,635 words in one week! I'm trying to get some work done before my husband's parents come for a visit in June.
